Accomplishment - UP Cebu High School's (UPCHS) contribution in the field of education by designing the curriculum for the Certificate Program for Science and Mathematics Teaching

Award - Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) Awardee, UPCHS was the only high school in the entire country to make it to the top ten

Accomplishment – The high school's Academic Mentoring Program, a series of Saturday math tutorials conducted by 32 UPCHS students, helped the students of Hippodromo Elementary School in Cebu City raise their ranking in the National Achievement Test to 37 in 2007 from 62 in 2005. UPCHS and Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. jointly implemented the program. UPCHS made it to the top ten after a series of elimination rounds at the provincial and regional levels.

Given by - TAYO was conceived by Senator Francis Pangilinan in 2002 to recognize the youth's contribution to community service and nation building.Last year's search organizers included the Office of Senator Francis Pangilinan, the National Youth Commission, TAYO Awards Foundation, Inc., Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, and Team Energy Foundation.

Accomplishment – UP High School's website, Calles de Cebu: Gateway to a Nation's History won second place in the historical landmarks category of the International Cyberfair Competition 2006
